Description
A little background story for the picture~
Arwen's parents are both major Professors of different colleges and most of the time they are traveling to different countries for conferences. They left Arwen because of her frail health and to stay on top of her studies. She met this young man who treated her like she was of importance to someone for once in her life. They both shared their dreams on what they want to do in their lives and she began to care for him much more than just as a friend. Months passed and she finally told him how she felt about him, but was heart broken when he wanted to stay just as friends. Upset and heart broken, Arwen left him and began to cry as she walked away. On the way towards her home, she noticed an old, worn out bench on a side street where no one was around. She quietly sat down on it and cried softly to avoid attention if someone was to pass by. As she was crying, a cat jumped up on the bench and looked at her in confusion. Not saying a word, Arwen continued to cry softly paying no mind to the cat that starred at her. Finally, the cat walked over and leaned on one of Arwen's legs and purred softly trying to comfort her. Wiping tears away from her eyes, Arwen smiled a bit at the cat and began to pet it's head, all the while it eyes looked sympathetic at her as if it was trying to say, "It's gonna be okay."

You may be wondering why she's mostly all white. Well, I tried to make it appear like she's the cat's spirit comforting the other character.<3 ;u;
Time: About two weeks for the sketch and a week for the line art, coloring, etc.
Tools: Pencil, paper, Gimp and my tablet
